Elevate Life Church Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Special Guest, Governor Rick Perry

On Saturday, January 9, Elevate Life Church will celebrate its 10th anniversary.  The church, formerly known as Celebration Covenant Church, announced the name change to its congregation during their New Year’s Eve service.  The name change coincides with the church’s 10 year anniversary and according to Lead Pastors Keith and Sheila Craft, the transition to Elevate Life Church represents, “…a brand new decade with new possibilities. It’s a new name, a new look but it’s the same great church.”

The month long anniversary celebration continues this weekend as the 4,000 member congregation welcomes Texas Governor Rick Perry to its northwest Frisco campus located at 8500 Teel Parkway.  Governor Perry will serve as guest speaker in ELC’s weekend services .  Service times are available on the church’s website at http://www.elevatelife.com <http://www.elevatelife.com> .

The Crafts believe the 10 year anniversary has deeper meaning and significance than just celebrating a chronological milestone.  Their hope is that in 2010 – dubbed the Year To Multiply by Pastor Craft – that ELC will multiply it’s influence so that the church can multiply its impact.

Known for it’s core message of self-leadership, generosity and social justice, Elevate Life Church is poised to do just that.  ELC continues to serve the city of Frisco and several North Dallas communities through it’s long term partnerships with Frisco Family Services, Samaritan Inn and most recently, Dallas based non-profit, Justice Revival.
