Keith Craft is not your typical pastor. His is not a household name, yet he’s shared the stage with the likes of Margaret Thatcher , Mikhail Gorbachev and Bill Clinton. For the past decade, he’s been at the helm of an interdenominational church whose rapid growth has mirrored that of the suburb it calls home.
He’s now on a mission to build a sanctuary for Elevate Life Church that’s expected to be one of the tallest buildings in Frisco once completed next year.
“In the old days, Europe especially, the whole purpose for a steeple was that it would be the pinnacle building in that community to point people toward Christ,” Craft said.
That’s his hope for what’s being called the Cathedral of Frisco, which will stretch about 10 stories high and connect with its existing church building on 27 acres in eastern Denton County. (Above, Craft is pictured with a model of the new cathedral).
